WHERE TO PARK

All on-street parking in the EDGE District is free 2-hour parking. Just be sure to check the nearest parking sign, it may only be enforced during certain hours or days of the week.

If on-street parking is full, there are also ‘pay and display’ parking lots in the neighborhood. Be sure to find the nearest pay station and display the receipt on your dashboard.


PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION

CENTRAL AVENUE TROLLEY

Parking can sometimes be hard to find in the EDGE District! Go car free and take the trolley. The Central Avenue Trolley gives residents and visitors a convenient ride from the St. Petersburg Pier to Pass-a-Grille Beach.

The fare depends on where you board, but ranges from free to $2.25 per rider.

There are three Central Avenue Trolley stops in the EDGE District:

  • 9th Street and Central Avenue

  • 11th Street and Central Avenue

  • 15th Street and Central Avenue

BIKE SHARING

There are over 300 bikes scattered across 45 hubs in Downtown St Pete’s bike share system operated by Coast Bike Share. It couldn’t be easier to rent a bike from your phone and get to where you want to be. Just located a hub with available bikes, download the ‘Social Bicycles’ app and follow the on-screen instructions. 

The price to rent a bike is $15/hour prorated, so you only pay for the time you use. Best of all, the bikes can be unlocked from one station and returned to any station in the system, so they’re perfect for short, one-way trips!

There are two bike share hubs located in the EDGE District:

  • 11th Street and Central Avenue

  • 14th Street and Central Avenue

From Tampa International AirporT (30 MINS)

  1. From George J Bean Outbound Pkwy take I-275 South.

  2. Follow I-275 South and take exit 23A for I-375 East toward Sundial/The Pier in St. Petersburg.

  3. Take the exit toward Dr M.L.K. Jr Street North from I-375 East

  4. Turn right onto Dr M.L.K. Jr Street North.

  5. Turn right onto 1st Avenue North.

  6. Turn left onto 11th Street North.

  1. Head east down Chestnut Street.

  2. Continue onto Court Street.

  3. Continue onto Gulf to Bay Blvd.

  5. Take the exit toward 49th Street North.

  6. Slight right onto 49th Street North.

  7. Turn left onto 1st Avenue South.

  8. Turn left onto 11th Street South.

  1. Head northeast on FL-693 N/75th Ave toward Blind Pass Road.

  2. Turn right onto 1st Avenue South.

From Sarasota (40 MINS)

  1. Head north on Washington Blvd.

  2. Continue on to US-301 North.

  3. Continue onto US-41 North.

  4. Use the left 2 lanes to turn slightly left onto US-19 North.

  6. Take exit 23 for I-375 toward The Pier.

  7. Continue onto I-375 East.

  8. Use the right lane to take the exit toward Dr M.L.K. Jr Street North.

  9. Turn right onto Dr M.L.K. Jr Street North.

  10. Turn right onto 1st Avenue North.
