The proprietor, Frank Edgar, is a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York. Mr. Edgar has 14 years of experience in the food service industry and 12 years of managerial experience in food service establishments. Frank Edgar formerly worked for HD Cafeterias which was a family owned and operated business.

At one time there were 11 units in the state of Florida with the home store located in St. Petersburg, Florida. The HD Cafeteria in the Northeast Shopping Center was in operation for forty-seven years. It was closed in March of 1996 after Publix bought the remaining 10 years of HD’s lease. Anticipating the closing of the cafeteria, Frank Edgar opened Café Ten-O-One at 1001 First Avenue North in St. Petersburg, Florida.

Café Ten-O-One is fully licensed, insured, and deliver bountiful meals at a moderate price.
